What Are Lumineers?

Lumineers are ultra-thin, custom-designed dental veneers that are placed over your natural teeth. They are made to mimic the look of your natural teeth while maintaining as much of the natural structure of each original tooth as possible.

Your dentist will take impressions of your teeth to send to the dental lab where your Lumineers will be created. Once created, your Lumineers will be applied. This process is minimally invasive and requires no anesthetic or aggressive drilling.

Lumineers can help correct:

Stained teeth or discolouration
Chipped teeth
Misaligned, misshapen, or crooked teeth
Gaps or spacing issues
Older or deteriorated dental work

Lumineers vs. Traditional Veneers

Lumineers and veneers can both correct a number of dental issues and help you feel confident in the look of your smile, but they do have a few key differences.

Lumineers are custom-made and digitally designed to be ultra-thin and fit seamlessly over your natural tooth. Traditional veneers are generally thicker and once applied, are permanent—unlike Lumineers, which can be removed by a licensed professional.

Our Location

Dr. Masse and her team are available even when their office is closed. You can reach us by calling the emergency number 647-613-5437 at any time. Urgent dental issues typically include recent injuries to the mouth and/or teeth, tooth pain, swollen face from a tooth infection, fractured teeth or post-surgical inquiries. It is helpful to have photos of the dental issue, so you may want to take a few pictures with your phone and have them ready to send to us before calling. We know it’s not always easy to get a photograph, but just try your best.
